The Demand and Governance Specialist is responsible for ensuring effective governance of project and resource allocation. This role involves coordinating with various departments to understand their needs, prioritizing demand, and managing resources to meet organizational goals. The Specialist will also ensure compliance with governance frameworks and standards, providing transparency and accountability in decision-making processes. 
He/she will be part of the Demand & Governance Team, with a focus on specific business streams within the organization and will report to the Demand & Governance Manager. 

 

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand management, governance, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and resource allocation.
  • Strong understanding of demand management and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align processes with organizational goals.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Fluent in english


WHAT WILL YOU DO? ✔️

  • Support the demand management process, collecting and assessing project and resource requests from various departments.
  • Prioritize demands based on strategic objectives, resource availability, and business impact.
  • Develop and maintain a demand pipeline, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies and frameworks to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Monitor compliance with governance standards and procedures.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on decisions.
  • Track and report on resource utilization, identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the governance board.
  • Communicate demand priorities, project status, and resource allocation plans to stakeholders.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and ensure their needs are considered in decision-making.
  • Monitor projects progress, challenging on time and budget targets.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and incorporate them into the organization’s processes.
