WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
You are suitable for this job if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development within complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and ABAP development tools (BAPI, RFC, IDoc, SAPScript, SmartForms, ALV, BTP Cockpit, Integration Suite) 
  • Expertise in configuring and customizing SAP S/4HANA SD/MM Retail modules, ideally with a focus on merchandise management.
  • Proven ability to manage the entire project lifecycle, from design to development and go-live.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Italian A1-B1 level.

Other competencies considered as a plus:

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects.
  • Knowledge of other SAP modules (MM, SD, FI, CO, AA).
  • Knowledge of other SAP BTP Cockpit modules (SCPI, Integration Suite, SAP Build WorkZone).
  • Experience in international or multi-site environments.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO? ✔️

  • Ensure high-quality technical solutions by developing, optimizing, and maintaining ABAP code for SAP implementations.
  • Design and develop reports, forms and interfaces (SAPScript, SmartForms, IDoc).
  • Manage debugging, troubleshooting and system performance optimization tasks.
  • Support migration, upgrade and implementation projects for new features.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with the functional team to analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
